You are invited to join the trips I lead for the Appalachian Mountain Club ("AMC") and the Adirondack Mountain Club ("ADK"). You must be a member, but membership is inexpensive and the trips are run non-profit, at cost, so they are a good deal.

Trip leaders, including your truly, are volunteers. Participants provide their own gear and cover their own costs. Trips are limited to small groups (usually 14 people or less), usually fill up and always have prerequisites in terms of experience, ability and gear. Please be prepared for trips to be full when you inquire, or for a trip leader to decide that you need more experience before attempting the trip in question. For AMC trips, you may also check the AMC calendar. I will try and schedule trips for beginners at least once a year.
